who takes the long way home just because you asked,
who saves his best silly faces for the moments no one else sees.
This June, we want that version. Not the Father's Day card kind β the real one, the everyday one, the unmistakably his kind. The "That's My Dad" Story Challenge is your invitation to put that person into a picture book.
(Note: Books must be created using Inspire Creation to qualify. Animate Video books are not eligible for this contest.)
π Every dad has a story. Here are a few to spark yours:
β’ A dad secretly practices all week to help his kid with a homework project β and still gets it a little bit wrong.
β’ A child follows Dad through a whole Saturday and slowly realizes he never stops thinking about them.
β’ A girl teaches her dad to do something she loves β and it turns out he's not very good at it, but he shows up every time anyway.
β’ A dad and child spend the whole day building something together. By evening, the thing is lopsided and unfinished β but it's their favorite thing in the house.
β’ A little one notices that Dad always whistles the same song and sets out to find out why.

2) Start your picture book β write it yourself or let our AI give you a hand.
3) Turn your story into a beautiful picture book.
4) Click the homepage event banner to enter the contest page. Select your entry and submit.

π Work Requirements and Restrictions
1) Your book must have at least 12 pages.
2) Each page should include an illustration + short text or subtitle.
3) Each user can submit only one book, and it cannot be edited after submission.
4) The creation time of the picture book must be within the competition period.
5) Works submitted in previous contests may not be submitted again in this contest.
6) Books created with ReadKidz 2.0 are only eligible if made with Inspire Creation. Animate Video books cannot be submitted.
