Printable Flashcards for Kids

Printable flashcards for kids are picture-and-word cards you print at home or in class to teach letters, vocabulary and early reading. Every set below is free to open and print, and each one comes with a maker: type the letter or the words your child or class is learning and it builds the same sheet around them, in about a minute.

How it works

  1. 1
    Pick a card style

Every card below is a real printable that this tool produced. Find the one that matches what you are teaching — an alphabet page, a phonics sort, a matching activity.

  2. 2
    Type your letter and words

Each card has a couple of boxes: the letter, the word list, the title. Change them to the ones you need and the full instruction behind that sample is rebuilt around your words.

  3. 3
    Generate, print and repeat

You see the credit price on the generate button, press it yourself, and the sheet appears in about a minute. It prints cleanly on A4 or Letter paper and stays in your works.

Frequently asked questions

Are these printable flashcards free?

The six sets on this page are free to download and print. Making your own uses credits from your account — the exact price is shown on the generate button before you confirm, so nothing is charged without you seeing the number first.

What kinds of printable flashcards and worksheets are there?

Six layouts: alphabet worksheets built around one letter, letter coloring pages, phonics sheets with CVC words, picture-matching activities, count-and-write worksheets, and bilingual English-Chinese vocabulary posters. Each one is shown with the exact sheet it produced.

Can I use my own word list?

Yes — that is what the boxes on each card are for. Type the letter or the words you are teaching this week and the sheet is built around them. A sheet about your classroom words beats a generic set that almost fits.

Do I have to write a prompt?

No. The wording that produced each sample is already there; you only change the few details that make it yours — the letter, the word list, the title. Everything else is filled in for you.

Can I print the sheets at home?

Yes. Sheets are generated as high-resolution square images that print cleanly on A4 or Letter paper. Black-and-white layouts like the coloring and phonics sheets are ink-friendly too.

Does it do handwriting or letter-tracing worksheets?

No. Tracing sheets need exact stroke guides and ruled lines that image generation cannot guarantee yet, so we do not offer them — the library sticks to picture-and-word formats where the quality holds up.
