Questions about these comics

Are these comics free to read?

Yes. Every comic on this page opens in full — every drawn page, first panel to last — with no account, no download and no payment. The reading is the whole thing, not a preview of it.

Who makes these comics?

They are original ReadKidz platform-curated comics. The story, characters and panels are made with the same comic tools the site gives every visitor, and a person reads and approves each one before it is published here.

Why are the comics in English only?

Because a comic’s dialogue is drawn into the artwork itself — the speech bubbles and sound effects are part of the picture, so they cannot be swapped into another language the way plain text can. Rather than machine-translate around the art, the library stays honestly English.

What is the text under each page for?

Each drawn page is shown with the prose it was drawn from. A confident reader can follow the panels on their own; a younger child can have the prose read aloud to them while they look — the same story, two ways in.

Can I make a comic like these?

Yes. These comics were made with ReadKidz’s own comic maker — you describe a story idea in a sentence or two and it becomes panelled, lettered comic pages with consistent characters. The links below this section lead to the maker and to a walkthrough of how it works.
